Looking Out at Elkmont
Elkmont was a vacation community in the middle of the Smoky Mountains. The community was taken over by the National Park Service and the buildings are badly deteriorated. As such they make interesting compositions, but it would be lovely if the buildings were restored as an example of a old-time vacation community.
From the back of one of the derelict buildings at Elkmont, a look towards the forest. This is a composite of two exposures, one for the inside and one for the outside.
